The Court of Appeals’ decision in Enriquez, confirms Michigan’s long-standing principles of contract law that in order to rescind the contract, one must repudiate the contract and restore the other party to the status quo as if the contract had never been performed. Additionally, the endorsement and cashing of a check represents one party’s acceptance of the other party’s terms.
